MOUNT OLIVE TOWNSHIP, N.J. (Morris County) – A 40-year-old Hackettstown woman faces charges after she urinated in a cup and then poured it on the carpet.
While township police were continuing to investigate another matter concerning Michelle Bishop, they had to review a September 30 recorded interview that involved Bishop, police said.
During the course of reviewing the previously recorded interview, Cpl. Wurtemberg observed, when Officer Gardner was not present, Bishop pulled down her pants, urinated in a Styrofoam cup, and then proceeded to pour her urine onto the floor of the interview room, police said.
Bishop did this on two separate occasions and did not notify anyone that this occurred. She exposed numerous persons and law enforcement to her bodily fluid, police said.
The room was placed out of service until the carpet could be replaced, police said.
Bishop was arrested on December 9 at 8:00 a.m. and charged with aggravated assault by exposing her bodily fluid to numerous officers and criminal mischief. She was released pending court.
