Local high schools win big in national cheerleading championship

ORLANDO, FL – Cheerleaders from some local Northwest New Jersey high schools traveled to Orlando, Florida this past weekend to compete in the Universal Cheerleaders Association National High School Cheerleading Championship.

Here are the results:

Warren Hills High School cheerleaders took third place in Varsity Division II (Super Varsity) and eleventh place in the Junior Varsity Division (Small Junior Varsity).

Warren Hills Junior Streaks cheerleaders took first place in the Rec & Club Division (Senior Rec).

 

Hunterdon Central High School cheerleaders took first place in the Varsity Division I (Large Varsity) and in the Junior Varsity Division (Large Junior Varsity).

The Hunterdon Jr Red Devils took fourth place in the Rec & Club (Senior Rec Division).

Madison Central High School and Randolph High School tied for third place in the Varsity Division II (Super Varsity Game Day Division).

Lenape Valley High School took fourth in the Varsity Division II (Medium Varsity Game Day).

West Morris Mendham High School took fourth place in the Varsity Division II (Small Varsity Game Day).

Belvidere High School took eight in the Varsity Division II (Medium Varsity Non Tumbling Game Day).
