ALLAMUCHY TOWNSHIP, NJ (Warren County) – The New Jersey State Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a minivan that was involved in a hit-and-run crash that seriously injured a man on Sunday evening.
At 5:15 p.m., State Police responded to Interstate 80 eastbound at milepost 21.5 in Allamuchy Township for the report of a crash involving a Harley-Davidson motorcycle and another car, state police said.
When troopers arrived, they discovered the victim, who was identified as Jason Hutchinson, 37, of Hopatcong, NJ and his motorcycle, but no other vehicles involved. Hutchinson sustained serious injuries as a result of the crash and was flown to Morristown Medical Center where he was last listed as in critical condition, state police said.
Authorities said based on the preliminary investigation, detectives believe that a silver minivan was involved in the crash.
