Mansfield Twp (Warren County) – Authorities have identified two people that were injured, one fatally, in Tuesday’s crash.
Elizabete G. Lino, 46, of Oxford Twp, NJ, was pronounced dead at the scene, according to Warren County Prosecutor Richard Burke and the Mansfield Twp Police.
Walter M. Zyck, 57, of Oxford Twp, NJ, was flown to St. Luke’s University Hospital in Fountain Hill and Zyck’s injuries were not believed to be life-threatening, according to Burke.
The crash was reported about 5:11 p.m on Route 31 between Jackson Valley Road and Tunnel Hill Road.
According to Mansfield Twp Police, it appeared Lino was driving north in the left lane when her vehicle crossed into the southbound side and struck a van head-on.
A medevac was requested and the landing zone was established at Oxford Textiles.
Route 31 was reopened at 9:25 p.m.
The crash does not appear to warrant criminal charges, according to Burke.
“Those involved and their families are in our thoughts and prayers,” Mansfield Twp police said in a Facebook post.
