LONG HILL TOWNSHIP, NJ (Morris County) – Morris County Prosecutor Fredric M. Knapp and the Long Hill Police Chief Michael Mazzeo confirm that on Saturday at about 8:20 p.m., an armed robbery occurred at the Country Farms convenience store, located at 87 Division Avenue in the Millington section of Long Hill Township.
The preliminary investigation has revealed that a white male entered the store, pointed a handgun towards the clerk, and demanded money. The clerk turned over a sum of money and the suspect immediately fled on foot. There were no injuries as a result of the incident, Knapp said.
The suspect, who remains at large, is described as a white male, approximately 5’9” tall, thin build, approximately 175 pounds, with some facial hair, and wearing camouflage style military clothing, Knapp said.
