HACKETTSTOWN, NJ (Warren County) – Thousands braved the frigid temperatures Sunday to be part of the Hackettstown St. Patrick’s Day parade.

The Hackettstown Business Improvement District’s 9th annual parade was held as scheduled, despite temperatures that only reached in the upper 20s.

Spectators wearing green lined Grand Ave, Main Street and Mountain Ave to watch the parade.

Sunday’s parade had all the familiar touchstones, including mummers, Irish dancers, floats, bagpipers, and bands.

Spectators told RNJ that they love coming to the parade every year and they had no intention of breaking the streak despite the cold temperatures.

This year’s grand marshal was Michael Lavery.
