HACKETTSTOWN, NJ (Warren County) – A Warren County man is facing drug charges after police found him to be in possession of cocaine and marijuana on Sunday evening.
At 9:47 p.m., a town police officer initiated a traffic stop with a vehicle on Route 46 for a moving violation, police said.
While the officer was talking to the passenger, who was identified as Curtis Collver, 24, of Columbia, NJ; the officer detected the odor of marijuana coming from inside the vehicle. police said.
A police investigation revealed that Collver had in his possession a small plastic bag containing suspected cocaine and a plastic bag containing suspected marijuana, police said.
Collver was charged with possession of cocaine and possession of under 50 grams of marijuana. He was then lodged in the Warren County Correctional Facility.
