AREA EASTER EGG HUNTS/EASTER BUNNY BREAKFASTS
HUNTERDON COUNTY:
The Califon Recreation Committee is again sponsoring the Annual Easter Egg Hunt on Sunday, April 9th at 1 PM at the Califon Island Park on Bank Road. The event will feature Easter egg hunting for all children in age groups, Pre-K through 6th grade, a jelly bean counting contest, and visits by the Easter Bunny.
WARREN COUNTY:
The Allamuchy Township Volunteer Fire Department will be hosting its annual Breakfast with the Easter Bunny from 8:00 – 11:00am on Saturday, April 8th. The cost for the breakfast is $9 for adults and seniors and children under 13 are $5. Kids who are four or younger eat FREE. The Easter Bunny will be available throughout the breakfast for pictures with kids. Come down to the Allamuchy Firehouse on Alphano Road, Allamuchy for a delicious warm breakfast. Menu includes eggs, pancakes, french toast, bacon, sausage, potatoes, our famous SOS & biscuits, cereal, orange juice and coffee.
The Panther Valley/Allamuchy Township 3rd annual Easter Egg Hunt will be held on Saturday, April 8th at 11:30am at the Allamuchy Township Green Acres ball fields, Alphano Road, Allamuchy. This event is free to all participants and all ages are welcome. Bring your own basket. Special prizes for all golden eggs found in the park. Breakpoint Community Church is hosting a Community Egg Hunt on Sunday, April 9th from 1:00 – 3:00pm at the Field of Dreams complex, 67 Cemetery Road, Great Meadows. Festivities begin at 1:00pm and the egg hunt will begin at 2:00pm This is a free event with lots of family fun for kids of all ages. There will be games, crafts, food and music. The Easter Bunny will also be available for pictures.
The Kiwanis Club of Hackettstown is hosting Breakfast with the Easter Bunny on Sunday, April 2nd, from 8:00 – 10:00am at Applebee’s, 225 Mountain Avenue, Hackettstown. Pancakes, sausage, scrambled eggs and a beverage (coffee, juice, soda or tea) will be served. Tickets are $10 each. Contact the club at kiwanisclubofhackettstown@gmail.com to purchase a ticket.
The Tri-County Fire Company and Auxiliary is hosting their annual Breakfast with the Easter Bunny on Sunday, April 9th, from 8:00 – 11:00am at the Tri-County Firehouse, Rt 57, Beattystown. Offering an all-you-can-eat pancakes, eggs, sausage, potatoes, cereal, pastries, coffee, tea juice and more.
