Hackettstown adopts a $10.5 million budget. The town Council voted to adopt the 2017 municipal budget at Thursday’s public meeting. This year’s budget will include a 1.1 cent increase to the municipal tax rate. Hackettstown Mayor Maria DiGiovanni explains how that will affect residents:

To fund those “as you go” payments, the budget includes a half million dollars invested into the town’s capital improvement fund.
