UPDATE: I-80 eastbound reopens after UPS tractor-trailer overturns

BYRAM TOWNSHIP, NJ (Sussex County) – A UPS tractor-trailer overturned Saturday evening shortly after 4:30 p.m. on Interstate 80 in Byram Twp.

The crash occurred on eastbound I-80 near mile marker 23.

According to radio reports, two injured patients were transported to an area hospital.

As of Sunday morning, all lanes of eastbound I-80 have been reopened between exit 19 and exit 25. Route 517, Route 46 and Route 604 in Hackettstown did experience heavy delays when the roadway was closed, according to police.
