BYRAM TOWNSHIP, NJ (Sussex County) – An arrest warrant has been issued for an East Orange man wanted for an August 2015 burglary, Byram Township police said in a statement last week.

Robert J. Calloway allegedly broke into the Cranberry Market and Deli, located on Route 206, on August 15 and stole approximately $2,327.25 in merchandise and cash from the business, police said.

Officers processed the scene and collected several items of evidence. On December 13, 2016 a forensics report was received from the state crime lab and Calloway’s DNA was found on one of the items that was collected. A match was subsequently located in a criminal justice database.

Calloway was charged with third-degree burglary, third-degree theft of movable property and fourth-degree criminal mischief. He currently has an outstanding arrest warrant for $60,000 with no ten percent option, police said.

“The investigation is considered open at this time, as officers attempt to locate and arrest Calloway,” police said.
