Local Author With Morning Mike

On Wednesday morning, March 16th, Morning Mike had the opportunity to chat with A.M. Hughes – although most around the area will know her as Andrea. She grew up near Hackettstown, attended Warren Hills High School and Warren County Community College before heading off to East Stroudsburg University. These days she is married, a mom, teaches English, literature, and creative writing at a high school in northeastern Pennsylvania – and has published her first book, Etched In Lies. Aimed toward the Young Adult and New Adult reader, Etched in Lies tells the story of sixteen-year-old Dylan Lord, who is discovering just how painful lies can be. Every lie she tells or hears causes physical pain. Etched in Lies is available in paperback and electronic editions from all major booksellers. You can learn more about A.M.
