No injuries after glider crash in Blairstown Twp. (PHOTOS)

BLAIRSTOWN TOWNSHIP, NJ (Warren County) – A person escaped injury after a glider crash in Blairstown Township on Friday.

Shortly before 4:00 p.m., emergency crews responded to a glider that crashed into a soccer field at Sycamore Park.

The pilot, who was alone in the plane, was not injured. He was able to avoid pedestrians but struck a soccer goal net damaging the nose left side of the plane.

There is no word on what caused the crash.
