HACKETTSTOWN, NJ (Warren County) – Thousands of people are expected to attend the 25th Annual Hackettstown Spring Festival this weekend.
The town business improvement district’s annual event will have a host of attractions. But even those who don’t attend will see its effects in town traffic, Hackettstown police said.
Here’s what to know before you go.
WHEN IS IT?
Spring Festival runs 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. Friday, noon to 10 p.m. Saturday and noon to 6 p.m. Sunday.
WHERE IS IT?
Held on the fields behind Centenary University on Fifth and Reese Avenues, adjacent to Hatchery Hill Elementary School.
WHAT IS THERE TO DO?
Rides, food , exhibitors and live entertainment are among the attractions.

Mars Chocolate North America will host their tried-and-true array of interactive activities, giving away plenty of their famous candy and snack products. The fan favorite soccer kick and door game for free Mars products.
Hackettstown Medical Center:
Friday
- Games, health info and education, popcorn and giveaways in HMC’s main tent
Saturday
- Games, health info and education, healthy snacks and giveaways in HMC’s main tent
- Atlantic Air One (AHS’ helicopter) will be flying in for a visit from 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m.
- “Senior Friendly Info” tent 12:30 p.m.– 3:30 p.m. (learn about medication safety, fall prevention, and more!)
Sunday
- Games, health info and education, healthy snacks and giveaways in HMC’s main tent
- “Teddy Bear Hospital” tent 12:30 p.m. – 3:30 p.m. (an opportunity for kids ages 2 to 7 to bring their ill or injured stuffed animal for treatment by staff from HMC’s ER)
WRNJ will be broadcasting live from the Festival, providing a mix of music, giveaways, interviews and fun with on-air personalities and staff.
TICKETS
Festival admission is free, with a suggested donation for parking.
Pre-sale ride tickets will be available at Fulton Bank Mountain Avenue and Crossroads Center, Jack’s Scissor Wiz and the Hackettstown BID office starting on Wednesday, April 5th.
Wristbands: Pay one price wristbands for rides will be available for Friday night ($30.00) and Sunday afternoon ($25.00).
WHERE CAN I PARK?
Anyone attending should park at Hatchery Field off 5th Avenue, according to town police. Once parking is filled, 5th Avenue will be closed at Grand Avenue. Reese Avenue will be closed for the duration of the festival.
Handicapped parking will be along the north side of Fifth Ave and in the Hatchery Hill School parking lot.
WHERE CAN’T I PARK?
There will be no parking on the following streets:
- The south side of Fifth Avenue from Grand Avenue to Hatchery Hill School.
- Both sides of Reese Avenue from First Avenue to Fifth Avenue.
- The north side of Fourth Avenue from Grand Avenue to the cul-de-sac.
- The south side of Robins Court from Grand Avenue to the cul-de-sac.
- Both sides of Grand Avenue.
Police also said drivers should expect delays on Grand Avenue during the festival.
