EAST HANOVER, NJ (Morris County) – Authorities in Morris County are investigating a series of vehicle thefts that occurred on Tuesday, May 2, in Boonton Township, East Hanover, and Hanover and may have been perpetrated by the same individual.
On the morning of May 2, a male suspect stole a 2005 white GMC 5500 truck from a local business in East Hanover. The suspect arrived at that location in a red 2006 Chrysler Town & Country van that had been stolen in Boonton Township.
The GMC then was driven to Hanover Twp. and abandoned, where it is believed the suspect then stole a 2003 dark grey Toyota Camry. The Camry was later recovered in Boonton Township.
