This edition of “Let’s Talk About It” with Rev. Frank Fowler focused on “Giving A Voice to Those That Aren’t Heard” – a free program helping youth and adults understand problems with drugs, bullying, and self-esteem. Rev. Frank Fowler’s guests were local community members of the Hackettstown Drug Alliance: Pastor Don Gebhard, from Trinity Church; Kyle Sosnovik, Assistant Principal at Hackettstown High School; Heidi Brotzman, Student Assistance Counselor and Harassment Intimidation Bullying Coordinator at Hackettstown Middle School; and Jennifer Spuckes, Student Assistance Counselor at Hackettstown High School.
“Help Brings Hope” – Wednesday, May 10th @ 10:05 a.m.
Presented by the Family Guidance Center of Warren County, RNJ News Director Joyce talks with staff and guests about the services available to Warren County residents. May is Mental Health Awareness Month and this edition of “Help Brings Hope” featured Richard McDonnell, the Executive Director of Family Guidance Center of Warren County, and Laura Richter, Assistant Mental Health Administrator from the Warren County Department of Human Services.
“Newsline” – Thursday, May 11th @ 10:05 a.m.
In the first portion of the program, WRNJ News Director Joyce Estey spoke with Mount Olive Police Chief Steven Beecher, on the Police Unity Tour down to our nation’s capitol. In the second half of the program Joyce welcomed Mount Olive Superintendent of Schools Dr. Larrie Reynolds, to discuss teaching styles and strategic plans for the future.
