“Local Impact” – Wednesday, June 7th @ 10:05 a.m.
RNJ News Director Joyce Estey is joined by her co-hosts, Former Assembly Speaker Chuck Haytaian and Independence Township Mayor Bob Giordano. The first portion of the program was spent recapping New Jersey’s primary election results. The remainder of the program was dedicated to three in studio guests: Dave Shoppe, a business and farm owner from Lebanon Township, Hunterdon County; Jim Kelsey, a business owner from Independence Township; and Patrick Moffitt, a water supply expert. They came with new information which disputes the regulations imposed under the Highlands Water Protection and Planning Act.
“Newsline” – Thursday, June 8th @ 10:05 a.m.
In the first portion of the program, WRNJ News Director Joyce Estey spoke with Jake Newberg from Revolution math/nj50. They discussed preventing the “summer slide” – ways to keep your student engaged in learning all summer long. In the second half of the program Joyce welcomed Megan Hill, a counsellor for the Washington Borough Schools, discussing “Zones of Regulation” which helps students learn to recognize where they are emotionally.
