MANSFIELD TOWNSHIP, NJ (Warren County) – A 45-year-old woman who allegedly told police she was going to “buy a gun and shoot them all” last week is facing multiple charges.
At 8:48 p.m. on Monday, June 5, township police responded to an apartment on the report of an alleged theft, police said.
While police were at the apartment. an officer observed a female cursing at a male and attempting to hit him, police said.
The female disregarded the officer’s commands to stop and then attempted to throw a nail cutter at the male, police said.
She was placed under arrest and when being placed in the patrol vehicle she allegedly told the officer she was going to “buy a gun and shoot them all,” police said. The woman’s name wasn’t released.
She was charged with simple assault, terroristic threats, and disorderly conduct. She was transported to the Warren County Jail pending a court appearance.
