HOPATCONG BOROUGH, NJ (Sussex County) – A Union County teen is facing a criminal mischief charge after he allegedly threw a bicycle when he found out Dunkin’ Donuts didn’t have caramel topping.
On Sunday at 6:12 p.m., Jacob Francizquini, 18, of Plainfield, NJ entered the Dunkin Donuts and wanted to order a drink with caramel topping, police said.
When Francizquini found out that they only had chocolate, he became angry and starting yelling before he left the store, police said.
There was a 15-year-old who was inside and had his bicycle outside the store. Francizquini threw the bicycle in his rage, which dented the bike and also paint was scraped off, police said.
Francisquini was later found at Modick Park and the officers questioned him about throwing the bicycle. He admitted he did so in a rage, police said.
