Morning Mike enjoyed a visit from Cheryl Kane, and Ann Buhr, two associates at the Sam’s Club in the ITC, Mount Olive. They stopped by to share news of the Fourth Annual Hometown Heroes Celebration, coming up on Friday, June 30th. It’s a day for Mount Olive Township and Sam’s Club to honor those who serve in the U.S. Armed Forces, Police, Fire, and all First Responders. The event runs from 9:30 until 11:00 a.m, although groups are welcome to stay as long as they’d like for recruiting purposes. There is plenty of room for all recruiters and vehicles to attend. All veteran’s organizations, FOPs, and all volunteer fire departments are welcome to fund raise and recruit at this event. Breakfast will be provided by Sam’s Club, Starbucks, Mount Olive Bagel, and Branda’s Italian Grille. There will be a special presentation by Mount Olive Mayor Robert Greenbaum and by Father Adam from St. Michael’s Catholic Church. Learn more on Mayor Rob Greenbaum’s Facebook page.
