WASHINGTON, NJ (Warren County) – A three month-long investigation into the alleged trafficking of cocaine in the Washington Township area has led to the arrest of three men, according to the Warren County Prosecutor’s office.
On Thursday, the Washington Township Police, the Warren County Prosecutor’s Office Narcotics Unit and the Warren County Tactical Response Team executed a narcotics search warrant at 68 East Washington Ave in Washington, prosecutor’s office said.
Cocaine, marijuana, paraphernalia and packaging were seized, prosecutor’s office said.
The following were charged:
William Carter, 32, of Washington, NJ was charged with one count third-degree possession of cocaine, one count second-degree possession with the intent to distribute more than one-half ounce of cocaine, one count second-degree distribution of more than one-half ounce of cocaine and one count third-degree distribution of cocaine within 1,000 feet of a school zone.
Earl Robinson, 32, of Easton, PA was charged with one count third-degree possession of cocaine,one count third-degree distribution of a less than one-half ounce of cocaine, one count third-degree possession with the intent to distribute less than one-half ounce of cocaine and one count third-degree distribution of cocaine within 1,000 feet of a school zone.
Michael Myers, 53, of Washington, NJ was charged with one count third-degree possession of cocaine,one count third-degree distribution of a less than one-half ounce of cocaine, one count third-degree possession with the intent to distribute less than one-half ounce of cocaine and one count third-degree distribution of cocaine within 1,000 feet of a school zone.
Each second-degree offense carries a maximum term of imprisonment of 10 to 20 years and/or a fine of $150,000. Each third-degree distribution offense carries a maximum term of imprisonment of five years and/or a fine of $75,000. Each third-degree distribution within 1,000 feet of a school zone carries a maximum term of imprisonment if five years and/or a fine of $150,000. Each third-degree possession offense carries a maximum term of imprisonment of five years and/or a fine of $35,000.
