ALEXANDRIA TOWNSHIP, NJ (Hunterdon County) – New Jersey State Police is seeking the public’s assistance with identifying a man involved in the alleged burglary of a residence in Alexandria Township last month.
On June, 26 at 6:30 p.m., the suspect allegedly broke into a residence through the front door and stole approximately $40 worth of change and an orange pillow case, state police said.
The suspect is described as a middle-aged black man, approximately 5’10”, 245 pounds, bald, with gray facial hair, state police said.
“Now, if you’re wondering why the suspect left with only $40 and an orange pillow case, detectives suspect that the burglar may have been scared away. They also suspect that he planned on filling that pillow case with additional stolen items,” state police said.
Anyone with information is asked to please contact Tpr. Daniel Harrison, of Kingwood Station, at 908-996-2864. Anonymous tips are welcome.
