SPARTA TOWNSHIP, NJ (Sussex County) – A Morris County woman is facing drug and weapon charges after she allegedly caused a disturbance on Sunday evening.
At 6:45 p.m., township police responded to a West Mountain Road address for the report of an unwanted guest causing a disturbance, police said
When police arrived, they were advised by the homeowner that the person in question had left the residence on foot and she has multiple warrants out for her arrest, police said
An officer began to search the area and then located the individual, identified as Deyna M. Filoseta-Abreu, 34, of Morris Plains, on Greenfield Hill, police said.
Filoseta-Abreu had multiple warrants and was placed under arrest. Officers searched her and found 46 hypodermic needles in her purse, a gravity knife, 2 crack pipes, 3 wax folds containing heroin, 8 Alprazolam pills, 2 small zip lock bags containing crack cocaine and a large assortment of other drug paraphernalia were also found, police said.
Filoseta-Abreu was charged with possession of prohibited weapons, possession of hypodermic needles, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of CDS and possession of prescription drugs not in the prescribed container.
Filoseta-Abreu was transported to the Sussex County Jail. She also had a warrant from Passaic County Sheriff’s Office and warrants from South Hackensack, Dover and Fort Lee were turned over to the jail.
