HOPATCONG BOROUGH, NJ (Sussex County) – A Budd Lake has been arrested after he allegedly stole a pair of Nike Air Huarache sneakers worth over $100 from his sister.

On July 6 at 7:04 a.m., a female reported to police that her brother, Terrell Robinson Jr, 33, came into her home and took her new Nike Air Huarache sneakers size 9.5 valued at $110.00, police said.

The victim knew her brother did it because her mother told her that her brother went into her room to look for change, police said.

The victim stated that Robinson had sold items in the past to Plato’s Closet. She called the business and they told her they did have the sneakers and that Robinson was the one who brought them in, police said.

On 7/12/17 at 6:49 p.m., officers received a call that Robinson was at the Pocono Trail residence. Robinson was charged with theft. He also had warrant out of the Sussex County Sheriff’s Office for non-support, a $750.00 Mount Olive warrant for failure to appear for Possession of CDS, a $1,000.00 Totowa Boro warrant for failure to appear for possession of paraphernalia, another $750.00 Mount Olive warrant for failure to appear for possession of paraphernalia.
