Mansfield Twp. man charged in marijuana distribution investigation

MANSFIELD TOWNSHIP, NJ (Warren County) – A six month-long investigation into the alleged distribution of marijuana in the Mansfield Township area has led to the arrest of a Mansfield Township man, according to the Warren County Prosecutor’s office.

On Friday, the Mansfield Township Police, Washington Township Police, Hackettstown Police, NJ State Police, Phillipsburg Police Department, Warren County Sheriff’s Department and the Warren County Prosecutor’s Office Narcotics Unit and the Warren County Tactical Response Team executed a narcotics search warrant in Mansfield Township, prosecutor’s office said.

According to the prosecutor’s office, approximately 17 pounds of marijuana and 130 grams of hash oil were seized.

William Wydner, 26, of the 600 block of Jackson Valley Rd was charged with one count of second-degree possession of with the intent to distribute more than five pounds of marijuana, one count of third-degree possession with the intent to distribute more than five grams of hashish, one count of fourth-degree possession of more than 50 grams of marijuana and one count of fourth-degree possession of more than five grams of hashish.
