BLAIRSTOWN TOWNSHIP, NJ (Warren County) – A Blairstown Township Chiropractor who was arrested in December 2016 for allegedly fondling two patients was admitted into the Pre-Trail Intervention program on Tuesday.
Edward Kramer, 62, who owned Kramer Chiropractic, 174 Route 94 in Blairstown Township, was admitted into the Pre-Trial Intervention Program for 2 years by Honorable H. Matthew Curry, J.S.C.
The resolution was part of a negotiated plea agreement with the Warren County Prosecutor’s Office, Special Victims Unit, who also worked with the Attorney General’s Office – Division of Law, on behalf of the Division of Consumer Affairs.
The case stemmed from complaints filed by two separate victims alleging that Kramer inappropriately touched two females.
In exchange for Kramer’s admission into the program for 2 years, he has agreed to the following additional conditions; revoke his license to practice as a chiropractor in the state of New Jersey and to a permanent bar on holding of any professional license in the state of New Jersey. Agrees that the above two licensure conditions survive his potential successful discharge from PTI after the 2 years has expire. Agrees to consent to and formally sign a consent order of revocation of his right to practice as a chiropractor, prepared by the Attorney General’s Office, by no later than September 1 and further agrees to abide by all terms and conditions contained therein. Shall permanently cease and desist from all patient contact in the State of New Jersey and this limitation includes, but not limited to, the rendering of chiropractic examination, treatment, or care, massage, yoga and/or rehabilitation such as stretching or exercise. Also, have no contact with the victims.
