MANSFIELD TOWNSHIP, NJ (Warren County) – A Hudson County man is facing numerous drug charges after police allegedly found 100 wax folds of heroin, cocaine and marijuana.
Jorge L. Nunez, 30, of Bayonne, NJ, a passenger in a vehicle, was charged with third-degree possession of heroin, third-degree possession of cocaine and possession of under 50 grams of marijuana and paraphernalia.
At 5:37 p.m. on Sunday, a township officer stopped a vehicle for an equipment violation. When the officer approached the vehicle. the officer allegedly detected the odor of marijuana, police said.
Through his investigation he recovered 100 wax folds containing heroin, approximately 2.5 grams of cocaine, and under 50 grams of marijuana, police said.
Nunez was lodged in the Warren County Jail pending a court appearance.
