MANSFIELD TOWNSHIP, NJ (Warren County) – Blood allegedly found at the scene of a 2015 burglary led to a Mansfield Township woman being charged with the crime, police said.
Deliah G. Farnon, 22, was charged with burglary and criminal mischief, police said.
The burglary occurred at a residence in the Port Murray section of township in June 2015, police said.
During the burglary Farnon allegedly cut her hand leaving blood evidence behind. Detectives collected the blood which later came back as a DNA match to Farnon, police said.
On August 20 at 8:58 p.m., officers went to a residence to serve the warrant on Farnon. She was arrested without incident and transported to the Warren County Jail pending a court appearance, police said.
