WASHINGTON TOWNSHIP, NJ (Warren County) – Two Mercer County men are facing charges after they were allegedly observed taking corn from a corn field.
Aramis Alvarado-Lopes, 33, and Gabriel Pacheco Castro, 28, both of Trenton, NJ were charged with a local ordinance of maintaining a nuisance., police said news release Friday.
On August 20 at 6:09 p.m., a township police officer allegedly observed Alvarado-Lopes and Castro taking corn from the corn field in the 300 block of Route 31 north in Washington Township, police said.
The officer’s investigation resulted in both men being issued a summons for maintaining a nuisance at the scene and released with mandatory court dates, police said.
