Parsippany-Troy Hills, NJ (Morris County) – The New Jersey State Police have arrested a Sussex County man for DWI and seized $600 worth of heroin after a traffic stop on Interstate 80.
Ryan Jackson, 27, of Hamburg, N.J., was charged with possession of heroin, possession of a hypodermic needle, possession of drug paraphernalia, criminal under the influence, and DWI.
On Saturday at 1:35 p.m., troopers stopped Jackson for a traffic violation westbound on Interstate 80 at milepost 46.2 in Parsippany-Troy Hills, police said.
During the stop, Jackson was arrested for DWI and was found to be in possession of 60 decks of heroin and drug paraphernalia, police said.
Jackson was released pending a court appearance.
