INDEPENDENCE TOWNSHIP, NJ (Warren County) – Independence Twp. police are issuing a warning after they received several reports of vehicles being burglarized last week.
Multiple vehicles were burglarized in the area of Towpath apartments, located on Route 517, police said.
Police are asking residents to reduce the risk of becoming a victim by following this tips:
- Do not leave vehicles unlocked.
- Keep your keys in your possession.
- Park in a well-lit area when possible.
Police have increased patrols in the area and are attempting to locate the suspects responsible.
If you see any suspicious activity, you’re urged to call your local police department.
