On a Friday edition of the RNJ Morning Program, Denise Maguire, manager of the Scala Memorial Home in Hackettstown, and her son Rich, stopped by the RNJ studios to visit with Morning Mike. Denise brought an invitation for the community to attend a “Holiday Meet & Greet” at Scala Memorial Home on Saturday, Dec. 9th, from Noon until 4:00 p.m. The highlight of the afternoon will be a Memorial Tree Lighting at 2:00 p.m., in remembrance of those who have passed. All are welcome to attend. Chaplain Mario Spadaro, of the Karen Ann Quinlan Hospice, will officiate the service, including a mention of all those served during the past year. The public is also invited to add other names to the list prior to the service. Chaplain Spadaro will also have information on grief counseling available.

The Scala Memorial Home will also be collecting new, unwrapped toys for the Hackettstown-Mansfield PSA Local 369 Toy Drive. Bring new, unwrapped toys to the Home at 124 High Street in Hackettstown, to be forwarded to the PBA for distribution to local families in the Hackettstown-Mansfield area.

You can learn more by visiting scalamemorialhome.com, the Scala Memorial Home Facebook page, or by calling 908-852-2420.
