On a recent edition of the RNJ Morning Program, Morning Make the opportunity to learn about an organization called “Cancer and Careers”, supporting the growing number of Americans of working age who are dealing with a cancer diagnosis and treatment. Mike spoke with Rebecca Nellis, the Executive Director of Cancer and Careers, and Kathy Flores, a cancer survivor and Career Coach. Cancer and Careers empowers and educates people with cancer to thrive in their workplace, by providing expert advice, interactive tools and educational events. As the number of cancer survivors in the U.S. continues to grow, there is an increasing need for resources and support to help them get back to everyday life and work after diagnosis and treatment. Cancer and Careers helps nearly 300,000 people each year — online, in print and in person — by providing valuable information and resources via expert advice, interactive tools and educational events.
