Two arrested after 2-month long investigation

MOUNT OLIVE TOWNSHIP, NJ (Morris County) – Two people were arrested Friday morning after a two month long investigation in Mount Olive Township.

On December 15, at 7:43 a.m., the Mount Olive Twp. Investigations Division executed a search warrant at a residence on Stone House Road, police said in a news release on Tuesday.

The search warrant resulted in the arrest of Peter Moraca, 20, of Budd Lake and Christopher Thomas, 33, of Somerset, police said.

Moraca was charged with possession of marijuana with the intent to distribute, possession of hash with the intent to distribute, and possession of paraphernalia with the intent to distribute.

Thomas was charged with possession of marijuana and possession of paraphernalia.

Both were released pending a court hearing.
