READINGTON TOWNSHIP, NJ (Hunterdon County) – An alleged assault outside a Readington bar Saturday evening left a man with a laceration to his lip.
David Bumbera, 62, of Howell, NJ was charged with simple assault.
At around 7:00 p.m., township police responded to the Wonder Bar, located on Route 22, for a report of an assault that oucrred in the parking lot, police said.
According to police, Bumbera allegedly punched a Tewksbury Township man after a brief argument causing a laceration to the man’s lip.
Bumbera cooperated with police when they arrived on scene. He was released with a future court appearance, police said.
