Mansfield Twp. police release photo of vehicle suspected in hit-and-run

MANSFIELD TOWNSHIP, NJ (Warren County) – Mansfield Township police have released a photo of the pickup truck suspected in a hit-and run on Pequest Road that sent a pedestrian to the hospital last Tuesday.

At around 2:55 p.m. on January 23, township police were dispatched to Pequest Road on the report of a hit-and-run involving a struck pedestrian, police said.

The 64-year-old woman was walking east on Pequest Road when she was struck by a pickup truck traveling west causing her substantial injuries, police said.

The pickup truck continued traveling west on Pequest Road after striking the female, police said.

The female was transported to St. Lukes Hospital in Bethlehem for treatment of her injuries, police said.

Anyone with any information on the driver or owner of this vehicle is asked to contact Det. Mathews or DSgt. MacDonough at 908-852-0003 with any information.
