Atlantic Health System, a leading provider of health care in New Jersey, celebrated a decade of excellence after it was recognized among Fortune’s “100 Best Companies to Work For®,” ranking number 74 in its tenth consecutive year on the prestigious annual list.

It is the only health care delivery system from New Jersey, and the top-ranked New Jersey based company on the list, appearing alongside some of the country’s best-known and successful corporations, such as Wegmans and American Express.

Atlantic Health System includes 16,000 employees, a network of 900 multidisciplinary physicians across the Atlantic Medical Group, six hospitals, multiple outpatient and ancillary facilities, and one of the largest Accountable Care Organizations in the nation. As the health care landscape across the country and in New Jersey continues to change, Atlantic Health System remains a strong and steady source of care for the communities it serves. It is continually listed among the highest financially rated health care organizations in the country, while its medical centers have garnered national accolades for patient care.

“In order to provide great quality care for our patients, we must first provide the highest level of care for one another,” said Brian Gragnolati, President and CEO of Atlantic Health System. “Our inclusive culture enables us to fulfill our mission of building healthier communities.”

Atlantic Health System’s innovative and caring environment offers team members an ever-growing variety of programs to expand their career horizons and create a more mindful workplace that maintains a vibrant work-life balance.

“An environment of care, resilience and mindfulness is essential to a team’s ability to thrive,” said Nikki Sumpter, Senior Vice President, Chief Human Resources Officer.

The system is comprised of 350 sites of care, including six hospitals: Morristown Medical Center, Overlook Medical Center, Newton Medical Center, Chilton Medical Center, Hackettstown Medical Center and Goryeb Children’s Hospital. Atlantic Health System also supports communities through Atlantic Medical Group, Atlantic Rehabilitation, Atlantic Home Care and Hospice, and its subsidiary, Atlantic Mobile Health.

For the sixth year in a row, Mars, Inc. has been named to the 2018 100 Best Companies to Work For® list, compiled by global research and consulting firm Great Place to Work and Fortune. Mars ranked No. 83 on the list, which is based on survey responses from more than 310,000 employees rating their workplace culture on 50-plus elements, including trust in managers, compensation, fairness, camaraderie and more.
