On the last day of February – exactly three weeks until Spring – Maureen Storey, the Manager of the Trinity Church Thrift Shop in downtown Hackettstown, spoke with Morning Mike about how they are getting ready for Spring. The most important news was that the “Garden Room” will be opening on Saturday, March 3rd. The “Garden Room” is attached to the Furniture Gallery, just behind Trinity House at 212 East Moore Street. Maureen said the room is stocked with a wide variety of garden and outdoor items, including tools (and not necessarily garden tools).
The conversation was also a good time to remind everyone that the Trinity Church Thrift has new and nearly new wedding gowns and dresses for special occasions. Maureen invited everyone to check out all the great photos on the shop’s Facebook page: www.facebook.com/Trinitythriftshop (and you don’t have to sign up for Facebook to view it).
Finally, Maureen wanted to mention that the Trinity Church Thrift Shop has two part-time job openings, for a driver/furniture mover and a furniture mover – picking up donations for the Furniture Gallery. You can learn more and apply on the Trinity Church website.
The Trinity Church Thrift Shop is at 211 Main Street in Hackettstown. There is plenty of free parking behind the shop with an entrance off of East Moore Street.
