“Healthier Living” – Tuesday, Feb. 27th @ 10:05 a.m.
Presented by the Hackettstown Medical Center, hosted by Lisa Dimiceli, Manager of Marketing and Public Relations for the Foundation for Hackettstown Medical Center. Lisa’s guest host was Michaeleen Graham, Chief Development Officer for the Foundation. Joining Lisa and Michaeleen in the RNJ studio were Dr. James Bowen, a board-certified general surgeon trained in advanced minimally invasive and bariatric surgery, and Meagan Butler, a registered dietician. Both of them work with the New Jersey Bariatric Center. They discussed bariatric surgery and other non-surgical weight loss options available at HMC.

In the first portion of the program, WRNJ News Director Joyce Estey welcomed Thomas Dilts, a retired family court judge who has established the Children’s Hope Initiative, focusing on meeting the needs of neglected children. Dilts was joined by Tracey Heisler, the Executive Director of CASA SHaW – Court-Appointed Special Advocate for Somerset, Hunterdon and Warren counties. In the second half of the program Joyce welcomed educators from Washington Borough Schools. Meghan Will, Counselor, Maria Stein, Supplemental Instructor, and Linda Feller, Reading teacher, highlighted a successful reading program.
