Clik here to view.On the Tuesday edition of the RNJ Morning Program, Morning Mike spoke with Melissa Flynn, manager of the Warren County Habitat for Humanity ReStore in Washington about the upcoming deadlines for the “Hope In The Hills Of Warren” program. Hope in the Hills of Warren is a nonprofit community extension of Warren County Habitat for Humanity, repairing and improving homes of senior, disabled, and low-income homeowners in the Warren Hills area. “Day of Hope” work teams are scheduled for Saturday, April 28th, and the “Weekend of Hope” will take place June 23rd through the 25th. Youth and adult volunteers will make repairs such as interior and exterior painting, light home repair, and landscaping.
If you are – or know someone who is – a senior, disabled, or low-income adult living in the Warren Hills area, and would like to apply for help, visit hopeinthehillsofwarren.org or warrenhabitat.org for an application. You can also call 908-835-1300, or stop by the the Warren Habitat office, 31 Belvidere Ave. in Washington.
Applications are also available for those who wish to volunteer for either of these two days.
The deadline to apply is Thursday, March 15th.
