Clik here to view.On a snowy Wednesday morning, Morning Mike found Hackettstown resident Michael Leyden in the lobby of RNJ. Michael is a member of the Long Valley Knights of Columbus Chapter 10419, and braved the snow to tell everyone about their Third Annual Veterans Benefit Barn Dance. The net proceeds of the dance will support the Knights’ work at various Veterans’ hospitals and facilities in New Jersey. The event takes place on Saturday, March 24th, from 7:00 to 11:00 p.m. at St. Mark the Evangelist Church, 59 Spring Lane, Long Valley. The dance is adult only BYOB (Bring your own beverages and snacks). The professional caller – well-known Howard Richman – will have a repertoire of easy dances and will provide instructions for all experience levels to make a relaxed and lively social occasion. This is a great opportunity to come and have a fun time while helping veterans. Don’t forget to invite your friends and relatives. Tickets are only $15 per person. They will also have a few door prizes to give away.
