RARITAN TOWNSHIP, NJ (Hunterdon County) – A Flemington man was charged with driving while intoxicated after going to the township’s police headquarters on Monday.
Jeffrey S. Sabol, 51, was charged with driving while intoxicated and reckless driving.
At approximately 4:55 p.m., Sabol responded to police headquarters to speak to an officer on an unrelated matter, police said.
While on scene, officers found that Sabol operated his motor vehicle driving it to police headquarters and allegedly appeared to be under the influence, police said.
Sabol was taken into custody and then released to a friend pending a court date.
