Wanted man arrested after foot chase in Blairstown Twp.

BLAIRSTOWN TOWNSHIP, NJ (Warren County) – A man wanted out of two counties was arrested after a foot chase in Blairstown.

On Wednesday, township police responded to a residence on Frontage Rd to serve warrants on Kenneth Wildrick, 58, who was wanted out of the Sussex County Sheriff’s Office and the Morris County Sheriff’s Office, police said.

When township officers arrived at the residence, Wildrick saw the patrol car and began to run, police said.

Officers chased Wildrick on foot and ordered him to stop running. He jumped a guardrail and began running on Mount Hermon Road. Officers then were able to tackle Wildrick and arrest him, police said.

Wildrick was charged with resisting arrest and then turned over to Sussex County Sheriff’s Office.
