KNOWLTON TOWNSHIP, NJ (Warren County) – Nine people were injured in a multiple vehicle crash that shut down Interstate 80 west in Knowlton Township on Saturday afternoon, according to Sgt Jeff Flynn of the New Jersey State Police.
Four vehicles were involved in the crash that occurred shortly after 12:00 p.m. near mile marker 8.2.
A Toyota was travelling west on Interstate 80 when it struck a Honda. After the collision, the Toyota struck a Cadillac and the Honda struck a Nissan, Flynn said.

A 17-month-old male, 41-year-old female and a 17-year-old sustained serious injuries. Six other crash victims had minor injuries, Flynn said.
Two medevacs were at the scene and at least one of the victims was flown to Morristown Medical Center. Flynn said.
All westbound lanes were closed for approximately 5 hours, Flynn said.
The crash remains under investigation, Flynn said.
