Police seek public’s help in identifying theft suspect

HACKETTSTOWN, NJ (Warren County) – Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a man who allegedly stole a wallet from a purse at IHOP.

Police released images of the suspect taken from IHOP surveillance.

On Thursday, April 19, between 8:00 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. the suspect was in IHOP, located at 200 Mountain Ave, and stole a wallet from a purse.

The suspect is described as a black male, wearing a black hooded jacket, khaki pants and black sneakers.

Anyone with information regarding this case is encouraged to call the Hackettstown Detective Bureau at 908-852-3302 or 908-852-3300.
