Two Centenary University students and a policeman visited Morning Mike in the RNJ studio to share information about a special event, going on at Centenary on Saturday, April 28th. From Noon until 4:00 p.m. on Anderson Field (behind Anderson Hall), you are invited to help solve the global water crisis and support local veterans while making a difference. Students Darian Steward and Brittany Bradley shared that the Enactus team will be demonstrating and assembling simple water filters during the event. Sean Abrusci, a police officer by trade, is a volunteer with the Wine to Water organization. Admission is $25 to support the work of Wine to Water, an organization that gives veterans a purpose by sending them overseas to set up water purification and supply systems. The day includes “A Taste of Hackettstown” with some of your favorite local eateries, and a silent auction with an assortment of items. In case of rain, the event will be held inside the Littell Technology Center. For more info, send an email to Marc Santora at santoram@centenaryuniversity.edu or Brittany Bradley at bradleyb@centenaryuniversity.edu.
