On a Monday edition of the RNJ Morning Program, Morning Mike was happy to welcome Chad Braine to the RNJ studios. During the day, Chad is the Defensive Coordinator for the East Stroudsburg University football team. But when he’s not at work, he is a member of the Anti Bully Squad, a nonprofit organization with a  mission to create a permanent solution to bullying through education, awareness and prevention. The Anti Bully Squad was started in 2014 and currently is over 40,000 Squad members strong.

Chad shared information about two upcoming events. The first is a community fundraiser on Saturday, May 5th, at 6:00 p.m. at the Byram Township Fire Department on Route 206. Admission is $30. You can learn more – and purchase tickets – at antibullysquad.org. Tickets will also be available at the door.

The other event Chad mentioned is the Michael Irvin Playmakers Football Academy on Saturday, June 9th, from 9:00 a.m. until 1:30p.m. It will be held at Newton High School, for kids in second through eighth grade. Several pro football players will bring their experience to help kids learn the fundamentals to play smart and safe. For more information, go to firstandgoalsportscamps.com. Early registration discounts end on May 9th.
