Your regular host, Rev. Frank Fowler of Trinity Church in downtown Hackettstown, was away this week, so our guest host was Trinity member Shawn Fuller. Joining Shawn in the studio were Lewis Donaldson, his son Gary, and Shannon Albritton, all from Donaldson’s Farm in Hackettstown. Lew shared the history of the farm, Greg discussed the farm opening season and organic farming practices, and Event Coordinator Shannon Albritton shared how Donaldson’s Farm connects with the community.

RNJ News Director Joyce Estey is joined by her cohosts, Former Assembly Speaker Chuck Haytaian and Independence Township Mayor Bob Giordano. This month’s program focused on school security with guests Warren County Prosecutor Richard Burke, Hackettstown Police Chief James Macaulay and Independence Township Police Chief Keith Aiello. They discussed how they work toward keeping kids safe in our schools.
“Newsline” – Thursday, May 3rd @ 10:05 a.m.
In the first portion of the program, WRNJ News Director Joyce Estey spoke with Mike Mihalik, Meteorologist and Director of Social Media at WeatherWorks, a Hackettstown firm which provides local weather forecasts for WRNJ. He discussed the unusual winter we recently endured, plus offered a look ahead to the summer and fall hurricane season. In the second half of the program Joyce welcomed Brian Staples, the Principal of the Third Street School in Belvidere. In a town filled with historic buildings, the Third Street School is marking its 100th anniversary.
