WASHINGTON TOWNSHIP, NJ (Morris County) – The Washington Township Police Department and the Morris County Prosecutor’s Office is seeking any information that leads to the arrest of Wade C. Bowen.
Bowen is wanted in connection with an arson that occurred on the night of March 15, 2018 at Bill’s Service Center, located at 27 Route 46.
At 11:32 p.m., Washington Township Police Department received notification of an active vehicle fire in the parking lot of Bill’s Service Center, police said.
When police arrived, they confirmed that four vehicles were actively on fire in a rear storage lot and the fire was beginning to spread to the rear of the structure, police said.
The fire was extinguished by Washington Township Fire Companies along with Hackettstown Fire Company and Long Valley First Aid Squad also responded, police said.
The fire was extinguished approximately at 12:13 p.m. and no injuries result from this incident, police said.
At the time of the fire the business was closed and was not occupied. As a result of the fire all four vehicles suffered extensive damage and the building sustained damage to the roof, rear wall of the structure along with structural damage inside of one of the garage bays, police said.
