Warren County ticket splits 267,920 Jersey Cash 5 jackpot

LOPATCONG TOWNSHIP, NJ (Warren County) – The Lopatcong Quick Mart, located at 401 Baltimore St, sold one of two Jersey Cash 5 tickets that together won a $267, 920 jackpot.

The Wawa #956, located at 409-411 Route 73 in N. Berlin sold the other ticket.

Two lucky tickets matched all five numbers drawn splitting the $267,920 Jersey Cash 5 jackpot from the Tuesday, May 8 drawing. Each ticket is worth $133,960.

The winning numbers were:  19, 22, 24, 33 and 36 and the XTRA number was: 02. Those tickets were sold at the following locations:

Acting Executive Director John M. White said, “We are thrilled that the winning jackpot tickets were sold at Wawa #956 and Lopatcong Quinck N Food Mard. The retailers will receive a bonus check for $2,000 for each winning ticket sold. Overnight, they have become two more ‘lucky locations’ for the very fortunate lottery winners.”

White announced that there were 383,253 tickets purchased for the drawing. By adding XTRA, for an additional $1.00 per play, winners are able to multiply their non-jackpot prizes by the XTRA number drawn. For correctly matching four of the five numbers drawn, 94 ticketholders won $367 each and 9 others won $734 each with the addition of XTRA. Moreover, for correctly matching three of the five numbers drawn, 2,257 ticketholders won $15 each and 369 others won $30 each with the addition of XTRA. Lastly 4,763 ticketholders each won $2 for correctly matching two of the five numbers drawn with the addition of XTRA on their purchase.
